I wish to install vg on a w/s to develop scripts. The pc running vg is using a d/4pci card, which option should i select on th w/s installation ?

 

1/ Dialogic analog

2/ Dialogic digital

3/ Standard

The D/4PCI is a 4 port Dialogic analog card.

That is correct, on the PC running the D/4pci I have secected Dialogic Analog however my question was what option should I select on the computer that I will develop scripts on, this pc is not running a dialogic card.

 

The installation clearly states that to select Dialogic Analog then the card MUST be installed in the computer before installation.

If you just want to use the Script Designer then selecting the "Standard" option will be fine.

 

Actually any options will be OK as that selection only affects the way VG runs the scripts and does not alter anything in the script designer. If the Dialogic option is chosen and there is no Dialogic card installed all that will happen is a few warning messages will be displayed during install.

 

The same script designer is installed regardless of what option is selected.
